| | "Isis"
This was my second entry into the Nibblefest Art Contest, when the theme was "Ancient Egypt." This piece is entitled "Isis." Often depicted as having wings, Isis was a mistress of magic, a goddess of the wind, and was believed to be able to transform herself into a bird at will. She was also the goddess of childbirth and motherhood, and was frequently pictured holding her son Horus.
